Homebrew
For Xmas I was gifted a Mr. Beer home brewing kit, expanding my hobby from drinking beer to making AND drinking beer. I started with a West Coast Pale Ale in late December, and after 6 weeks I am very excited to announce that I am a proud papa of approximately 2 gallons of delicious beer! Well, minus the liter that I consumed last night. My weeks of doubt were all for naught, as my brew both smells and tastes like beer, has a nice head and color, and performed it’s most important duty - made me slightly drunk (it’s only about 3% ABV, but if I drink enough…). I am looking very forward to my next brew, an Irish Stout, which will be drinkable a few weeks after St Patrick’s Day.
